A world record only happens when everyone holds their slot.

200 skydivers, 70 seconds of freefall, not one slot interchangeable. That is the rule behind a large formation world record, and it is the same rule that makes a team perform inside a company.

Your reality

Your teams cannot perform together.

Reorg, merger, fast growth: you need your teams to work as one unit, not as a stack of individuals. But something holds. And what holds is rarely what people assume.

Until a team can tell the risks that destroy from the risks that propel, it cannot perform together. It either protects itself or it charges ahead. Neither one builds anything.

01
They protect themselves instead of building together

After a reorg or a merger, everyone defends their own turf. Silos are not an org chart problem: they are a team with no shared frame for what it is allowed to attempt together.

02
They hold back exactly where they should push

Collective caution kills innovation more reliably than risk does. Initiatives stay in drawers, ideas die in meetings. Boldness retreats because nobody knows what is permitted.

03
They execute without owning the shared goal

With no clarity on what actually matters, people do their part without real commitment. Cohesion stays on the surface, performance stays individual.

04
They have no shared language for deciding

Leadership swings between rigidity and hands off. With no shared frame to separate what gets eliminated from what gets attempted, everyone improvises their own limits.

The real problem

You cannot ask a team to push past its limits if it cannot tell a Fatal risk from a Vital one.

Clarity on what we protect and what we dare

A shared decision frame to separate the non negotiable risks from the ones that move you forward. Usable the next morning.

A space where people speak up

Problems surface before they get expensive. Ideas arrive before they are forgotten. Everyone acts without waiting for someone else to take the risk first.

One direction that cuts across silos

When everyone understands why the team is fighting, cohesion stops being an offsite word: it becomes the engine of collective performance.

Your challenges
How do you bring a team back together after a merger or a reorg?
After a merger, everyone defends their own turf because nobody knows what they are allowed to risk anymore. Cohesion returns when the team shares one decision criterion: what it eliminates without discussion, what it dares together. The De l'Audace keynote installs that shared criterion, drawn from the RECORD Protocol, built on world records bringing together more than 200 skydivers from different countries.
What do you do when a team stops making decisions?
Decision paralysis rarely comes from fear of risk. It comes from the absence of a shared criterion and the fear of being punished for a mistake. Until a team can tell a fatal risk from a vital one, it picks the safest option, which is almost always standing still.
How do you break down silos between departments that no longer talk?
Silos are not an org chart problem. They are teams protecting their own turf for lack of a shared frame on what they can attempt together. In a large formation record, one participant off their slot cancels the work of everyone else: that rule of shared ownership is what the keynote brings to organizations.
How do you get problems surfaced before they get expensive?
Speak up is not a value on a wall, it is a procedure. In skydiving, every attempt ends with a debrief where each person states their own mistake in front of the group, without their slot being questioned. The keynote details that mechanism, carried by the second pillar of the RECORD Protocol, the Parachute.
How do you get commitment and not just execution?
A team executes when it knows its task. It commits when it understands why it is fighting and what its precise slot brings to the whole. The third pillar of the RECORD Protocol, the Horizon, carries that question of purpose and pride of belonging.
The keynote and its logistics
Who is Domitille Kiger?
Domitille Kiger is an international keynote speaker and skydiving world champion, titled in 2011 and 2012, holder of 10 world records and more than 10,000 jumps. For more than ten years she has organized large formation world records bringing together more than 200 skydivers from across the planet. She is a TEDx speaker, named by Forbes among its 40 Women 2025, and a Knight of the French National Order of Merit.
What is the De l'Audace keynote?
De l'Audace is the signature keynote of Domitille Kiger. Its promise: performing together by telling the risks that destroy from the risks that propel. It runs 20 to 90 minutes depending on the format, is delivered in English or French, and works for executive committees as well as managers and frontline teams.
What is the difference between a fatal risk and a vital risk?
A fatal risk is one whose consequences cannot be replayed: it is handled before the action and it is not negotiable. A vital risk is one that progress requires: without it, a team stops learning and stops innovating. Confusing the two produces two symmetrical failures, paralysis on one side, the accident on the other.
What is the RECORD Protocol?
The RECORD Protocol is the method born of fifteen years of experimentation in large formation skydiving. It rests on three pillars: the Flight Plan, which installs structure, the Parachute, which installs trust, and the Horizon, which installs purpose. Each pillar translates into practices that transfer directly to teams inside a company.
What formats exist beyond the keynote?
Three formats exist: the 20 to 90 minute keynote with questions, the one to two hour workshop as an extension, and the wind tunnel flight experience. The workshops cover team risk mapping, building a large formation figure on the ground, and the executive risk roundtable.
How is a tailored session prepared?
Every session starts with an in depth brief call: the moment the company is going through, its internal vocabulary, the messages leadership wants carried, the result expected after the event. The stories and business parallels are selected from that scoping. The CMO of IBM France reports that participants asked whether the speaker had already worked inside the company.
What does a keynote cost and how do you book a date?
The fee depends on format, length, language, location and the degree of customization. Booking goes through submitting a brief, followed by a personal reply within 48 hours and then a scoping call. Dates are usually booked three to nine months ahead, with shorter openings depending on the calendar.

A question that is not here? It will find its answer in the brief call.
